Sri Healthcare-Research International (SHRI) conducted our first online monthly Mindfulness Meditation workshop on Monday, 8th June, 2020.
It is a monthly workshop that we conduct regularly for individuals to understand the meaning and benefits of Mindfulness and also practice and develop Mindfulness as a lifestyle habit. It is an experiential workshop where individuals practice Mindfulness and derive their personal learnings and insight which they can share in the safe space on SHRI. The workshop is designed to help individuals empower their self as well integrate their self with other individuals, their environment, the society and with Humanity.
The Mindfulness session conducted this month was very well received, interactive and insightful. The session taught the participants and helped them experience non-judgment, peace and acceptance. The participants expressed the ease and relaxation they began to experience through the course of the session.
The session also through experiential activities and techniques helped individuals understand the importance and benefits of laughter. The participants were taught and given space to express their laughter and connecting with fellow participants through laughter and feelings of acceptance and non-judgment.
